What started out as short stories that I emailed to my girlfriends for fun turned into In the Pursuit of Happiness. If they had not pushed me to do it, it quite possibly would never have happened.Sometimes I feel things so heavy in my spirit it is as if there are layers of words laying on me. They don’t go away until I sit and type out what I feel. Sometimes the story plays out in front of me like a mini soap opera. I see the characters; I know what they are wearing and what they are saying. I replay it in my mind until I get an opportunity to get it down. Sometimes the characters speak in my head. This can sometimes be most disconcerting. It is as if they are arguing over who I am going to write first.
I have to have a quiet place when I write. There are times when I close my eyes and place my fingers on the keys and the story just flows out of me.
The support I have received for my writing is awesome. I am the network administrator at a middle school and my educational background is strictly math and computer science. As the word slowly got out around the building about the first book.I received nothing but encouragement from the faculty n staff. My students were proud. My family was thrilled. My children were in awe.
I enjoy my stories and hope that others will too. When I write, I laugh, cry, get upset, and rejoice. I love to hear feedback from readers. Please feel free to email me at soabproductions@hotmail.com with questions or comments. Thank you for your support and keep reading.

"No one is more amazed at my writing accomplishments than I. That I have actually written and published novels is astounding to me."
